Peyton had his 4 month check-up this past week. He is 15 1/2 pounds and 25 inches long. The doctor says everything is looking good and he can start solid foods. Already done that!! He has been getting the hang of eating food from a spoon and seems to like applesauce and bananas. Not a fan of sweet potatoes, but will still eat them. I think it all seems pretty gross, but it is all new to him, so he is all for it. Mealtime is more of a mess than it is progress...I have a feeling it will be like this for a while.
He got his shots at his appointment too. It took a few days for him to get over them (especially the tetanus shot). He was a little sore and a little cranky for the past 3 days, but he was still smiling...what a trooper!

He is getting one little tooth finally. All the drool and gnawing on his hands has finally served a purpose. All you can see is a small little white dot on his gums, but it is wiggling its way up and out. I'll add a picture when it comes in!

Everything is going well and he is getting to be a big boy. Each day is a new adventure and we all have smiles on our faces!!
