So we are getting ready for Peyton's first christmas. Every weekend he wears his santa hat and christmas jammies. We have put up our christmas tree (luckily he hasn't become mobile and taken it down), lights, stockings, etc. He is getting close to crawling. He gets on his tummy, lifts himself up on his arms, then kicks his legs. He knows he is supposed to do a bunch of things, but doesn't quite get how they all work to crawl.

We also got to go visit Santa this past weekend. Peyton wasn't not excited, but he wasn't excited either. He just was. He looked like a little elf sitting on his lap. The saddest part is that he is whiter than Santa. Doesn't Santa live in the north pole???

We are heading up to Wisconsin for Christmas this year and I am not looking forward to the cold. I think Peyton is going to be very shocked at the temperature change. We take him for a walk at night to look at the christmas lights and he has his hat, mittens, warm clothes and a blanket and he still looks so cold...and it is 50 degrees.
We should have lots of fun though. He will be happy to see everyone again and to get some new toys. It will be a whirlwind trip, but we are all very exited to get away for a little bit and enjoy everyone's company.
