10 Months

We have made it to ten months old...with very few bumps and bruises along the way. Except for now. Peyton is into EVERYTHING!!! Now that he figured out how to crawl he is motoring! It is so funny to see him crawling into everything....he puts his head down and goes... without regard for walls, door jams, toys, chairs, etc. If he sees something he wants, he goes to it. Especially my computer or anything with buttons he can push. It is impossible to keep him away...he'll climb through my arms to get to the buttons.

It has been impossible to change him now. He doesn't want to sit still. We have to tag team him just to put his diaper on. One holds the top while the other puts on the diaper. He turns over as soon as you lay him down. I'm about ready to put pull-ups on him to make it easier on us.

Peyton went to his first Birthday party last weekend. It was for his friend's (my co-workers' daughter) 5th birthday. It was a luau, so he had to wear his Hawaiian shirt and shorts. Luckily we live in Arizona and the weather was nice enough to do that. Peyton also had his first cupcake. I thought it would be on his birthday, but he enjoyed it just the same. He just had a little frosting and a little cake, but most of it ended up everywhere else. He had a great time though.

So if you see bruises or bumps or scrapes Peyton just crawled into something or fell over or got into something he shouldn't have... I didn't do it! :)
