15-month check-up

Peyton had his 15-month check-up on Friday. All is well and he is growing like a weed. He is 32 3/4 inches tall (90th percentile) and 25.5 lbs (50th percentile). I thought for sure he was short and fat, but it ends up he is taller and thinner than I thought.

The doctor said that everything looked good and he seems to be happy and healthy. He does however have a double ear infection. Lucky him. He had a cold for a few days and then had a fever, so I knew it was coming. He is on Amoxicillin for 10 days and should be fine after that.

He did get three shots...and unfortunately it caused his fever to go higher on Saturday, so he was not a happy camper. Always a trooper though. He got a ton of sleep on Saturday night and started to feel better yesterday. Now we are just wiping up snot and forcing him to take his medicine. :)

He did get his first official full haircut yesterday. Ryan cut it with the trimmers. Not that he has a lot of hair, but he had that "Duggar" look. If you are unaware of the Duggar's, they are the family with 18 kids, but they are very conservative and all the boys have the side part with the hair combed over. Peyton's hair...although thin...was looking a bit long and combed over, so Ryan took the trimmer and cut it.
