Walt Disney World

Peyton had his first experience with Disney World this past week. We all had such a good time...how could you not?! We went to all four parks (Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Magic Kingdom) and Universal Studios - Island of Adventure.

It was Star Wars weekend at Hollywood studios, so that was right up Ryan's alley. He even got matching shirts for him and Peyton. There would have been one for Connor, but they didn't come that small. :) That was a good starting place because it also had Peyton's favorite characters from Playhouse Disney. (Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Handy Manny, My Friends Tigger and Pooh, and Little Einsteins).

Peyton's first character meeting was with Handy Manny. I really think he thinks Handy Manny is a true person. He was not scared one bit...he took his autograph book and pen, marched right up to him and gave him a hug. I was amazed that he was so brave. I thought for sure he would have been nervous...but not my boy!

Peyton was such a trooper throughout the entire trip. For no naps, high heat and humidity, and a whole bunch of new, sometimes scary things...he was awesome! We of course had a few tw0-year-old melt downs that required small time outs and apologies, but all-in-all he was very good.
Even stuck it out in the rain. Which was funny because he had never been in a thunderstorm before and saw/heard thunder and lightning. He was a bit nervous, but really liked the whole rain part...what an Arizona boy.

Character Meetings: We met a ton of characters on this trip. Peyton would ask for "Peyton's book" (autograph book), take it and walk right up to the characters. He would give them a high-five and we would take pictures. It was fun!

Five years ago we went to Disney on our honeymoon. When we were at Epcot we created a memory tile that is in a huge bank in front of the giant ball. Well when we went it was the day before our 5th anniversary, so we had to find our tile. Here it is...5 years and 1 & 3/4 kids later!

Group Pictures: It was the last day of the trip and we were all exhausted...you can see it in our pictures. It rained earlier, so everyone looks lovely! It was a fun trip and we all had a good time!
