Catch Up

So I haven't been on here for like 5 months...I apologize. So many things have happened.

1st: Peyton's 3
I can't believe my baby is already 3. He is SOOOO independent, which comes in handy...but when I need him to be he magically forgets that he can do it himself. :) I have to say that the terrible two's were NO match for 3. With the negotiating and attitude, it can get bad. He's overall a good boy...but it is a challenge.

2nd: 6 year Anniversary
Yup, it has been 6 years since Ryan and I got married. We were younger, thinner, and had a whole lot less responsibility...but I wouldn't change a thing. We have had a wonderful marriage with a great house, great jobs, and two wonderful boys! Wouldn't change a thing! Here's to 50 more!!

3rd: Connor's Tubes
Connor got tube put in about 3 weeks ago. What a HUGE difference. He was having a lot of ear infections, but most of all he couldn't really hear. That was confirmed by the doctor telling me that his eardrums were not moving and he could only hear like he had his fingers in his ears. Now that he has his tubes, he is babbling ALL THE TIME! He is trying to say words and has a very small list. He says "all done".... more like aaaaah duh! Daddy is his favorite person, so his favorite word. Sometimes he will say HI, but that depends on his mood. He is trying to blow kisses, but doesn't really get that you don't kiss the person when you do it. :) He has really progressed in the last three weeks because he can finally hear. His surgery was about 10 months earlier than Peytons, but he would have been so behind if we waited until winter.

Connor's Birthday is August 3rd and I can NOT believe that it has been a year. Where did the time go?? He is getting SO big...has been crawling for about a month and a half, but already trying to walk. He can walk well with two hands, but will still try when only holding one. I'm thinking he might beat his brother on walking...but we'll see. Peyton will be in so much trouble when he can walk...but i know will love it because Connor will finally be able to do fun things. Connor and Peyton LOVE each other...most of the time. It is so fun to see Peyton be the good big brother and Connor just laughs at everything he does...its a lot of fun to see. It is a love /hate relationship all the way!
