I am so excited about Connor's outfits for his Annointing and Baptism this month. Yes, I said outfitS...the first one is a family baptismal outfit that is 48 years old. My uncle, brother, 3 boy cousins, and Peyton all wore it for their baptisms. Connor will be at least the seventh boy to wear this outfit, so it is pretty fragile.
The other outfit that Connor will wear will be on his Baptism day. This one my mom made out of my wedding dress. Since I am not planning on having any other children, and I can't imagine my daughter-in-laws wanting to wear my dress, it seemed silly to keep it around forever. So I thought it would be a good idea to make something that could be passed down our family to future generations. Watch...now we'll have all granddaughters.
I was amazed by what my mom did with the fabric...it is better than what I envisioned. Hopefully we will have many people that it can be passed to in the future.
